Configuration tools include projects that provide configuration UIs, auto-discovery scripts, and change management interfaces.
Core reads its configuration data from text files. This is designed to allow for maximum flexibility with a variety of administrator’s setups. For many Nagios users, implementing additional configuration tools can ease the task of deploying and managing a Nagios configuration.
The Nagios Community has developed a variety of other tools and utilities for configuring Nagios Core. You’ll find them on the Nagios Exchange site under the Configuration category.
