Hello,

I use custom SSH ports for my personal servers, and my Nagios Core server is no exception. How can I use an SSH port in the migration section? Is it even possible, as when I try to do IP:PORT it fails out with syntax. If it isn't a feature, it would be a good addition.

Thanks,

Jack W.

Hi Jack, thanks for reaching out.

I agree that you should be able to specify the port.  I am going to do a bit of digging and create an issue to get this feature supported.

Thanks,

Laura

Hi Laura,

Thank you, hopefully as more people migrate to and use CSP we can provide more feedback and make the XI platform better for all! 🙂

Thanks,

Jack W.

Hi Jack,

I also like a non-default ssh port on personal servers. While supporting specifying the port is a great idea, it may take a minute to implement and release. In the short term, are you open to briefly moving back to port 22 for ssh to make the move?

Aaron

Hi Aaron,

Yes, that is what I did. In fact, I just add a new line, so SSHD opens 2 ports. My custom port and then default.

Port CUSTOM
Port 22

Thanks,

Jack W.
